CITIZEN MACHINERY ASIA joined the METALEX 2024 event at BITEC
Although the world economy tends to grow lower but the Thai economy is still expanding. In particular, the main industries still have good growth trends, such as: Automotive, Electrical appliance industry , Medical device industry , Construction industry and Construction materials, etc. The Ministry of Commerce stated that Machinery and components are also one of the top 5 imported products. The top 5 countries from which Thailand imports machinery and components are China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. It shows that many industries still have a need for metal and the industry still needs to adapt in order to meet changing market needs by improving the capabilities of machines and bringing in modern technology to help with the work more.
This year’s event was held for the 38th under the concept of “The Masterpiece” presenting new innovations that are masterpieces, over 3,000 brands from 50 countries and 21 pavilions from 8 countries and special administrative regions. From South Korea, Germany, China, Japan, Republic of China (Taiwan), Singapore, Italy and India. That will help raise the level of production allowing industrialists to create masterpieces for their businesses for interesting highlights of the new innovations showcased this year. There are many items. The event also includes EV Tech Forum and AI Forum seminars.
This year, Citizen Machinery Asia has brought machines with high machining efficiency. Participate in the exhibition as well. Which is a display of 3 models of machines: A20U345B, BNA42SY5 and this year we also have the launch of a new machine model that has started production in Thailand like L20(L320E) and machines from Yamazen like A20-3F7. In addition, we also received good support from business partners, including cutting tool, attachment and automation systems brands, leading brands in the machinery industry, bringing tools and technologies to display in the CITIZEN booth. The machinery exhibition is divided into 4 zones.
Zone-1 : Miyano BNA42-SY5 able to work with chip breaking technology such as LFV technology along with developing machine structures to be more efficient.
It can support many types of workpiece loading systems. Including loading large workpieces like Gantry Loader. This machine can perform both turning and milling tasks, meeting customer needs within a single machine. Work time can be reduced through superimpose drilling, allowing front and back drilling to be done simultaneously.
Zone-2 : Cincom A20U35B works with the Ikura Seiki material feeder, which can accommodate up to 3 meters of material, similar to the U34B, with the difference in the tool holder installation that can increase the machine’s capabilities more than the U34B.
Zone-3 : Cincom L20(L320E) new generation L20 The appearance, both inside and outside, has been revamped. To support today’s complex operations such as power, stroke diagram, built in automatic meaturing, operation panel and others, the current L20 new model has developed the LFV technology function to be able to use both main and back spindle. Cincom L20 has advanced to its 3rd generation, offering a portfolio of 5 models from the cost-effective Type VIII to Type XIIB5, which allows simultaneous control of 5 axes. Highlights and changes of this model include:
– CITIZEN’s proprietary LFV technology, or low frequency vibration cutting.
– New rear spindle with improved acceleration/traction better reduction speed with higher output It also reduces cycle time.
– The maximum number of turning tools that can be installed on a gang tool post has been increased to six to avoid tool shortages.
– The high-end model L20XIIB5 supports simultaneous 5-axis control and can perform complex machining operations in combination with a CAM system.
– L20 advances towards sustainable production with environmental performance in reducing CO2 emissions.
Including support for measuring system in-machine from Hexagon.
Zone-4 : Cincom A20-3F7 basic model Swiss auto lathe with chip breaking function. This can reduce scrap management problems for users. For smooth operation, there is a function for automatically loading and unloading parts into the machine without any intervention. And there are no steps that require human work in the process.
It can measure workpieces, clean them, and display measurement results in real time.
The highlight of this year’s Citizen booth is the unique L20(L320E) machine and it is a new model of machine. But unlike last year, this year our area was separated into two sides, which made it difficult for some customers who visited our booth to see the machines thoroughly. And the space is quite limited and narrow, so we do not have space to display technology and other services. Therefore, the format of promotion was changed to sticking stickers on machines instead. This good idea came from CMJ who went to exhibit machines at JIMTOF2024. And although the layout of the exhibits was not as comfortable as last year, but our team helped bring many customers to see the new model. The response of L20(L320E) for this year is considered to be quite a lot of people interested including competing companies like Tsugami and Tornos, they came to visit the development of the machines at our booth and inquire about the work and technology that we had on display. This is the pride of the team that we have developed the machines and service to customers at all times. It also received praise from customers that our machines have a beautiful and modern design. This year, the booth of the competing company There hasn’t been any new machinery or technology to display. Including there is no running cutting of the actual workpiece compared to CITIZEN’s own booth. And importantly, this year we were able to close the sale of 4 machines, namely 3 of A20 machines for customers of CCS ADVANCE Company and 1 machine for L32, customers of P&T ENGINEERING.
From organizing all 4 days, we received good responses from both domestic and international customers such as Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore and India, who continuously came to visit and talk. This year, the number of customers who came to the event was clearly higher than last year. This year, the team had the opportunity to present the support and after-sales services that CITIZEN provides to many customers who are not well known. Some of them know but don’t yet know what services we provide. Including inviting customers to come view the machines and consult with the engineering team at the showroom where many customers sit and talk with sales staff pay attention very well.
For next year, we will continue to improve and develop the presentation of machines even further and bring in new technology. In order for every customer to experience it again.
