CITIZEN Elevates the METALEX 2025 Experience with Full Machine Demonstrations, LFV Technology, Integrated Manufacturing Solutions, and Exclusive Event-Only Promotions

METALEX 2025—the largest machine tools and manufacturing technology exhibition in ASEAN—returned with great energy, driving momentum across the industrial sector. Under the concept “The Spotlight,” the event showcased outstanding manufacturing innovations and advanced technologies from around the world. It was held from 19–22 November 2025, 10:00–18:00 hrs. at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok. This year, the show featured more than 3,000 brands from 50 countries, including 18 international pavilions from 8 countries and special administrative regions: South Korea, Germany, China, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan , Singapore, and Hong Kong. Total visitor attendance reached 100,162 over four days, reaffirming the strong and growing demand for advanced manufacturing technology in Thailand and the ASEAN region.

For Citizen Machinery Asia, METALEX 2025 served as an important platform to demonstrate the brand’s capabilities to both Thai and international manufacturers. CITIZEN exhibited within the Yamazen Pavilion, presenting a unique “Matsuri Festival” theme that blended Japanese cultural charm with cutting-edge innovation—making the booth one of the most vibrant and eye-catching areas throughout the event. CITIZEN showcased four high-precision machine models: A20VI/U35B, L12X, L20X, and BNA42SY5. Each model was selected to meet the diverse needs of industries such as automotive, electronics, medical, and general manufacturing—highlighting Citizen’s strengths in precision, stability, and LFV technology.

• A20VII/U35B generated notable attention from medical manufacturers due to its ability to handle multiple complex processes in a single machine, producing highly detailed medical components.

• L12X, despite its compact size, delivers exceptional performance for small-diameter parts requiring superior surface finish—especially suitable for medical tooling.

• L20XII became one of the show’s main highlights, praised for its speed, rigidity, and accuracy required for aerospace components and large-volume production.

• BNA42SY5 attracted customers seeking a robust, multi-axis solution capable of heavy cutting and stable mass production.

CITIZEN MACHINERY ASIA joined the METALEX 2024 event at BITEC

Although the world economy tends to grow lower but the Thai economy is still expanding. In particular, the main industries still have good growth trends, such as: Automotive, Electrical appliance industry , Medical device industry , Construction industry and Construction materials, etc. The Ministry of Commerce stated that Machinery and components are also one of the top 5 imported products. The top 5 countries from which Thailand imports machinery and components are China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. It shows that many industries still have a need for metal and the industry still needs to adapt in order to meet changing market needs by improving the capabilities of machines and bringing in modern technology to help with the work more.

This year’s event was held for the 38^th under the concept of “The Masterpiece” presenting new innovations that are masterpieces, over 3,000 brands from 50 countries and 21 pavilions from 8 countries and special administrative regions. From South Korea, Germany, China, Japan, Republic of China (Taiwan), Singapore, Italy and India. That will help raise the level of production allowing industrialists to create masterpieces for their businesses for interesting highlights of the new innovations showcased this year. There are many items. The event also includes EV Tech Forum and AI Forum seminars.

This year, Citizen Machinery Asia has brought machines with high machining efficiency. Participate in the exhibition as well. Which is a display of 3 models of machines: A20U345B, BNA42SY5 and this year we also have the launch of a new machine model that has started production in Thailand like L20(L320E) and machines from Yamazen like A20-3F7. In addition, we also received good support from business partners, including cutting tool, attachment and automation systems brands, leading brands in the machinery industry, bringing tools and technologies to display in the CITIZEN booth. The machinery exhibition is divided into 4 zones.

METALEX 2023 “The Innovators”

METALEX 2023 at BITEC BANGNA, THAILAND on Nov.22nd – 25th with the concept of “The Innovators” for all 4 days. There were over 98,000 visitors and exhibitors in 7 pavilion who brought their own machinery and technology to exhibit. As for the exhibition area, we held a joint space with Yamazen dealer, in area of 50 sqm. (20×2.5M) and exhibited 4 models of machines: A20, L12, R04, BNA-42SY6 LFV with 3 concepts:

1. New model
2. Market demand trends and
3. Technology trends in detailed as follows.

New Model: BNA-42SY6 LFV and R504

both of these models are new in Thailand. Center-lathe with 2 spindles type was a greater demand. So, this year we presented the aluminum workpiece and finished parts in both OD and ID with small chips to present the performance of LFV. In the R-series presented the watch components that had a Machining process, Drilling process and Tapping (S0.9)

Market demand trends: Machine that produced workpieces with small sizes (lower than dia32mm.).Machine structure with 2-spindle and milling tool to produce Pre-form workpieces for reducing manpower in the production process.
We and Yamazen had many the experiences on this field and our machines had been sold a lot. Therefore, we would like to exhibit an additional solution regarding Un-load, In-line inspection and part storage, which was a solution that many customers were looking for. Thus, we brought the popular model A20 to connect with the equipment as mentioned above by turning aluminum workpieces to showing performance of LFV that has high-productivity when connected with an automation system.

Technology trend: IIoT and FA trends attracted more attention from the customers but some of our technology products cannot bring to sell in ASEAN. Therefore, we work with our partners to exhibit those solutions. This year, we still present OEE product of Fanuc MT-Link-I and Automatic Measuring Device on L12. FA system, we took the robotics system that support from Yamada Machine tool, Loader system with Bowl feeder from a local supplier that exhibit with the A20-chucker.

As mentioned for all, we brought the Total solution to present to the customers. To be a guideline for production in the current trend, which attracted the attention from many customers in the A20-chucker machine including competitors in the same industry. Another important part, we exhibited “Sustainability management” that our company gives the importance to. and continue to operate. Same zone exhibit Alkapplysolution product as well.

This year, we saw an upward trend of FA system such as the Cart-Robot that coming to present from machine tool builders. Importance factor the labor costs in Thailand will increase after the election was over. We found that the customers were interested and come to discuss about the FA such as In-line inspection, Part storage system and On-machine measuring system. BLUM has exhibit area and display BNA-42DHY. Attention of LFV increasing and enquiry about what difference from other makers and concerns the life time of machines shortened.

Overall, the event still has a large number of visitors. Most were old customers still come to visit, update and discuss about new technology on Sliding head machines. Also it was found that the total number of inquiries received, it decreased from last year by 23% for the same customers only.

PRIVATE SHOW 2023

Citizen Machinery Asia Company participated in the machinery exhibition. At the 9th Industrial Machinery and Tools Exhibition organized by Yamazen Thailand Company at the Pinthong Industrial Estate Sales Office, Chonburi Province.

On September 14-15, 2023, Citizen Machinery Asia participated in the machinery exhibition at “YAMAZEN PINTHONG PRIVATE SHOW 2023”. This event included machinery, technology, and many other innovations from leading manufacturers’ brands. 40 companies

This year, the company has brought machine to the exhibition with the ever-popular model Cincom A20 under the concept of “INNOVATION WITH LFV” and we also have the expert technicians attending the event to provide advice and also recommended at the event. Many customers were interested and came to see the LFV technology that was on display.

And what’s more special, The company was also honored to be one of the speakers at the seminar on the topic of “INNOVATION WITH LFV” which is the innovation that results from the use of LFV technology in the matter of reducing and eliminating all 7 types of Waste, including guidelines for consideration. Investing in machines equipped with LFV will help prevent variable costs caused by Waste, which most customers do not consider from the initial investment.

Throughout the two-day event, there were more than 300 customers attending the event who were continuously interested in coming to visit. There are many customers who are interested and want to try using technology such as LFV technology.

CINCOM MIYANO PRIVATE SHOW 2023

CITIZEN MACHINERY ASIA Company organized the event “CINCOM MIYANO PRIVATE SHOW 2023” with a total of 12 machine models from the Cincom Miyano brand as well as joining forces with more than 20 leading brands of cutting tool manufacturers to organize an exhibition of machinery and technology for the automatic lathe industry. At the new showroom in the ASEAN region Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand

On August 24-25, 2023, Citizen Machinery Asia held a grand CNC Automatic Lathe exhibition. At the event many specialized technologies were displayed. The important highlights of the event are Automation system display that can be used in conjunction with machines that are equipped with LFV technology to increase machine performance to be a recommended solution for customers as well.

The objective of this event is to make a trust and good relationships with the customers. This machinery exhibition was held in the new showroom. To express the potential and readiness to support sales and provide excellent service to the customers.

The concept of this year’s event is “The Most Efficiency of Automation X LFV. Production efficiency with the most advanced automation system combined with LFV technology.

In the morning, event started with a seminar with a total of 4 topics. The first topic was “The Most Efficiency of Automation X LFV” regarding the maximum efficiency achieved by working on machines with LFV and automation systems that Yamada showcased, Unmanned production of complex shaped parts from Yamada, the third and fourth topics from NTK and KYOCERA in the topics of “TMV Chip Breaker for LFV” and “Appropriate KYOCERA tools for LFV” which talk about Inserts specifically designed for machining with LFV technology.

In the afternoon, the customers visited a demonstration of 12 models of machines on display in the Showroom area. There was also a demonstration of Automation systems, automatic work piece feeding and Robotics, as well as an exhibition of cutting tool technology. 20 brands at the event, the customers can talk and consult with technicians directly.

We are open to visit the production line of Cincom machines that are produced in Thailand, a total of 6 models, including A20, L12, L20, L32, B12 and model R0104, which began production in the middle of last year.

Throughout the two-day event, there were more than 200 customers interested in attending the event. NO.1 MACHINE TOOLS & METALWORKING EXHIBITION SERVING ASEAN – 36th EDITION

Thai Metalex 2022 returned to exhibit again after no exhibition for 2 years. On Nov 16-19 2022, it’s been taken place under the concept of “ASEAN COMMUNITY CONNECTOR “This year has the exhibitors more than 2,500 brands and visitor 86,011 persons for whole 4 days of exhibition.

Citizen Machinery Asia Co., Ltd. joined the exhibition in the area of 50 sqm. (2.5m. x 20m.) together with Yamazen Thailand booth. We brought the machine to display for 4 models as.

This year we tried to promote LFV technology that is the particular technology of Citizen by using with A20 and L12 machine. These can operate with the complex material such as SS304 and aluminum. In the various process of cutting, it might cause the tie of chips problem. As following, we’d like to let the customers see the difference between cutting process by using LFV technology and without LFV. Therefore, we brought the actual chips to display this time.

For the exhibition, we saw many customers that don’t know the LFV technology. This made us want to improve the way to communicate LFV technology in the ASEAN market. Moreover, the other solutions of Citizen also have been displayed there as

1. Automatic Measuring Device in-Machine on L12 with probe of Metrol
2. Operation monitoring system function: with Fanuc MT-Link-I and Machining solution such as hobbing spindle for gear machining, 4X time spindle and NMB-Wavy Nozzle
3. After sales service, ACADEMY for training our customers both of old and new to learn how to operate the machine.
4. Alkart Solution , making the customers study and learn about the CNC machine by themselves via DVD. This year we also have DAIYAC and ESPRIT CAM software joined together to display their products in our booth

For 4 days of exhibition, there are many customers come to visit Citizen booth both of Thais and foreigners all the day. This year, we met the Vietnamese and Indian customers more than the other countries. When comparing with our competitors, the customers are interested in our products more. Especially the solutions that we bring as mentioned. As per talking to the customers and visitors, they were looking for the new solutions of operation process for enhance the efficient production.

The exhibition made us feel that the customers really trust in us. They brought their sample work pieces to consult with our engineer team, talking about the causes of problem, machine problems, how to skill up their staffs, the future solutions. The customers also wanted to install the LFV technology on their existing machines for problems solving.

As a result of this year’s exhibition, we truly know that the market now is still investing and machines are continuously needed. Moreover, the investors are ready to purchase and install the machine within short time. This is the information that we will communicate to CMA for finding the best way to respond this requirements in time.
